How To… 101   2 comments

This is How to grill a Toas-Tite grilled sandwich – 101. All of this blog’s recipes use a grilled sandwich maker.  So, if this is your first time using a Toas-Tite grill please take a moment and read these instructions.

Cover the two inside clam shells with any vegetable or butter spray.  It can be a named brand like PAM or your local store brand.

Place the bread of your choice on the bottom clamshell.  Add your inside ingredient(s).  Remember, this can be one of the most creative moments of your life!  Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic; however, you do have to make choices in the bread and ingredients….may as well make them interesting.

Place the second slice of bread on top.

Break off the excess bread

Set the flame to medium-low

The average cooking time is 1 to 2 minutes each side.  Cooking time is based on the flame setting and contents of your sandwich.

Feel free to open the sandwich maker any time during the grilling process.  With the sealed edges on the sandwich nothing will spill out.

Once it’s done open the sandwich maker and let it drop on a plate.  Give it a minute to cool.

It’s that easy.  And it’s even more delicious.

Enjoy!
